Our Garden
Little Rock Garden is a working regenerative farm in the Breede Valley — a wild garden, and home to the free-range hens behind Little Rock’s eggs.
Wild Gardens
Our gardens are left a little wild on purpose — three to four hectares of trees, wildflowers, and wildlife given room to establish themselves, alongside the olive trees that make up the wider estate. There’s also a small, private tree nursery here, raising trees for our own restoration work rather than for sale or public browsing.
Our Free-Range Eggs
Little Rock’s hens are raised in a carefully managed free-range environment, with daytime access to open outdoor scratching areas – and we believe that care shows in the quality of the eggs they produce.
Their manure goes back into the land, helping to build the healthy soil that supports the trees, gardens, and wider ecosystem growing here. We are also working to make non-GMO eggs available to customers who care about how and where their food is produced.
Restoring the Land
Healthy soil holds water. Water supports trees. Trees bring shade, cooling, and habitat. It’s a simple cycle, and every part of Little Rock — the hens, the gardens, the trees — plays a part in keeping it turning. We’re currently in a season of repair and replanting after a major flood moved through the valley in 2026 — proof that a landscape built to hold water is worth every bit of the work.
